Jason Truesdell : Pursuing My Passions

A life in flux. Soon to be immigrant to Japan. Recently migrated this blog from another platform after many years of neglect (about March 6, 2017). Sorry for the styling and functionality potholes; I am working on cleaning things up and making it usable again.

Good for you! I've been wondering the same stuff myself the last few years. I'm going on my 7th year at the "firm."

Looking forward to reading more about your journey. Good luck.

When you start a cafe/restaurant, let me know! I'll fly there! Looking forward to that.

Ah, at first I thought you were giving up coding for *making* pots. Ah well, importing decent ware from Japan & Korea is good work too. I wrote software for quite a while and I know what you mean by "unfufilling". Definitely one half of the mind is fully engaged while the other withers...

Good luck on learning the food industry. Lots of cross-over between the food and pottery worlds. One could say they are the two most accesible tactile art forms. One of the potters I work with was sous chef for some high end twin cities restaurants before starting Dock 6 Pottery. We talk food all the time.

Good luck!
