This blog is really cool, Jason... I saw your site listed as a referrer on my blog & I was flattered to find Madeleine on the list of Seattle foodies. I will definitely add a link to your site!

If you happen to have seen my blog lately, it's had to take on another purpose temporarily as some of my closest family were in a terrible car accident. I have a review on Miyabi Sushi, in Tukwila, in the works but I never realized how powerful a blog can be... Over 170 people a day looked for updates on how these two amazing folks are recovering, & while I fear it may be out of my usual focus, I've realized how a simple site can connect strangers with a similar passion--be it food, wine, or the people they love.

Keep up the good work, & I look forward to benefitting from your expertise in this realm of the food world!

Best, Catherine

I hope your family members recover quickly. It's nice that we can use the internet as a tool to reach out for support. My site has occasionally changed focus depending on either what I'm most concerned about or what gives me the most joy... This is why I'm still hesitant to think of my blog as a food blog... Anyway, write about what's on your mind. Blogging is still the most intimate form of publishing.
